This authentic Indigenous-designed orange t-shirt, created in partnership between Muin Clothing and Stanfield’s Ltd, commemorates The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Inspired by the Mi’kmaw tradition of Quillwork, the design reflects a rich cultural heritage. For each t-shirt sold, $1 will be donated to the Nu-mi-quai-ni-mak Fund, supporting the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation. Made in Canada from a 50% cotton and 50% polyester blend, the shirt is machine washable and designed for easy care.

This unique orange t-shirt, designed by Indigenous artists and produced in Canada, is a collaboration between Muin Clothing and Stanfield’s Ltd, created to commemorate the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
The t-shirt features a Quillwork design inspired by the traditional artistry of the Mi’kmaw people, who utilized porcupine quills for clothing, accessories, and birch bark containers. This design pays homage to the Mi’kmaw culture, known for their connection to porcupines, earning them the nickname “porcupine people.” Quillwork has always been a highly valued craft among various communities.
A portion of the proceeds, specifically $1 from each shirt sold, will contribute to the Nu-mi-quai-ni-mak Fund, also known as the “I remember them fund,” which is managed by the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation (NCTR).
